Time Studies & Financial Health
For Critical Access Hospitals in particular, cost-based reimbursement is essential for financial sustainability. In order to obtain accurate reimbursement from CMS, the cost report needs to reflect appropriate cost allocations and time studies need to be performed to substantiate cost allocations. VersaBadge began as an automated time study solution for CAHs to more accurately report Part A standby time in their Emergency Departments. We now offer a wide range of time study services that also accommodate interdepartmental cost allocation, administrative time capture and Rural Health Clinic time studies.
Distress Alerts
Violence against caregivers is sadly on the rise and staff safety is an increasing priority for care teams and administrators in all healthcare settings. With VersaBadge Distress Alerting, caregivers who need help can simply press a small button on their VersaBadge that sends a discreet duress alert to nearby staff, security, or other alert recipients. This positions caregivers to summon assistance to their specific location much earlier during a potentially dangerous event, so that other team members can help to deescalate a situation before it gets out of hand.
Asset Tracking and PAR Level Management
Know where key assets are at all times and make it easy for care teams to find the nearest item they need. VersaBadge Asset Tracking allows hospitals to track key assets, rental equipment and high value assets that have a tendency to go missing. Time stamp and trigger alerts if assets reach an exit corridor or restricted area. Reduce inventory and improve utilization, streamline maintenance efforts and reporting by making assets easily findable.
